The two DADS in my life, my own dad and my husband, are solid examples of family leadership. In their own unique ways, they each offer wisdom and guidance for all of us.
My Dad gives us:
dependable stability
comforting love
quiet wisdom about life
examples of a steady and consistent work ethic
gentle tenderness mixed with his firm grasp in life
I've shared this photo before, but it's one of my favorites.
My Dad and I on my wedding day.
My husband gives us:
endless ambition to provide for his family
calming, comforting words of encouragement
an exciting and passionate outlook on life
smart parenting skills that train strong boys
his whole heart dedicated to his family always...no matter what.

I feel humbled and blessed to have these two strong men in my life! They are a solid foundation for future generations of a long line of family love! Strong men play such a dynamic part of this world we circle around in. They are truly the keys to our peace and success. Never undervalue the power and influence of the men in our lives. They build up generations of greatness, and I'm forever grateful to be blessed with a Dad who loves beyond measure and a husband who gives his all to his family.
So, here is a song to both of you. These lyrics remind me of you both. Listen to each word and know that I love you.
"Like I'm gonna be a daddy whose in the mix,
And I'm gonna be a husband who stays legit,
And I pray that I'm an artist who rises above,
Yo before we part from the start,
Where's your heart?You a pimp, hustler?
Tell me what's your title,
America has no more stars, now we call them idols,
You sit idle, While we teach prosperity,
The first thing to prosper should be inside of me."

The captioned picture of the boys and I made me cry. Thank you for always encouraging me so perfectly. I know you think I am a good daddy, but to me I just feel like I get to have three really good friends who like me a lot that like to play fun things with me. They even do whatever I say! ;-) And your dad is a perfect example to any guy that needs to know how a real man lives his life.
What a nice post!
