I learned something too! I desperately need order. I thrive on it. I want my house neat and tidy before company comes and before big events, no matter what all the "stress less" books say. This year memories were made with highlights of festive fun and also with low points of mama spinning in circles and yelling at everyone. It is what it is. This year's memories are a combination of crazy days with handfuls of treasured moments. I cried and cursed and then I hugged and shined a smile. I was happy and mad all together. And I also learned to appreciate the support of my boys, all four of them. They are consistent in their care and help. They stepped up when I was falling down. And they shared excitement when we were living in the happy moments of the season.

Lisa, I love what you did with your decor, and isn't it funny how necessity is the mother of invention in terms of the luminaria? They are so pretty! Your whole house looked like Christmas in the best sense of that word. So glad you shared it with us.
I hope you all have a wonderful 2015 filled with health and blessings.

I wanted to let you know I am having a drawing for a wonderful tablescape book by a designer named Joe Nye. You don't have to do anything but enter. No promotional stuff. Everyone has the same chance. I wanted no strings attached. Just a gift from me to whoever wins.
Someone gave me a copy of the book FLAIR a few years ago, and I enjoy it so much in my library that I am going to draw for one that I want of the contestants to have in theirs. The thing I like about it is that Joe Nye used to be a florist and knows all about flowers and uses grocery store flowers in arrangements. He has actually made me love carnations and baby's breath which you couldn't have handed me on a platter a few years back. And he mixes things in the book, too. If you have a copy, you know it would be a great gift for someone else. Anyhow, I would like for you to have a chance at winning it because I know how much you love tablescaping and parties. He was one of the premiere party planners in San Francisco and a designer there before he died. He started, though, as a florist in the Midwest, I believe. xoxox

I loved your tour Lisa!
I want to steal a ton of your stuff.
But, hey.
I live in Arizona so if something ends up missing it isn't really me!
You are so talented. I'm going to try and remember to do the JOY next year!
Thanks for being such a wonderful hostess.
And Happy New Year!
I'm amazed at everything you were able to do this year at Christmas with ALL that was going on... You would have no idea how crazy it was by your peaceful pretty pictures! My favorite thing I think are the bears painted by the boys! They couldn't be cuter!
