Unique Easter basket GIFTS and Last Minute Easterness Ideas

We've been running laps somewhere but going nowhere.  It has been a challenging spring for us with some difficult outside circumstances taking the place of the daily busyness of life.  But I'm trying to continue forward as usual again so...  With still just a COUPLE days before Easter, I wanted to throw out some fun ideas for all you cool Mamas and Papas to use for this fresh spring holiday.

FOR ANY OF THESE IDEAS, EASILY CLICK ON THE LINKS IN THIS POST TO BE RE-DIRECTED TO THE POST WITH FULL DETAILS ON EACH IDEA.

This Feather Nest Easter table is a bit of whimsy mixed with simple nature.

Crisp white, hard boiled eggs, nested in between feathers.

There are so many ways to use chocolate bunnies in decor: like this photo of my Moms, with nametags tied on for placesettings, in a row for buffet table decor, and whatever ever else you can think of in your creative little heads. ;)

Another springtime idea is using egg dye to color doilies for decor.

Dressing up simple white Easter eggs with sequins, ribbon, and yarn.

Rainbows of jelly bean jars,
pastel doilies,
fresh squeezed OJ,
and daintily adorned eggs...

Mini basket squares gifts

These are huge, giant, larger than life eggs.  You can fit a puppy in these {wink}.
Use chalk ink to write names on plastic eggs and it will easily erase when needed.

These will be scattered all over the grass for a HIGH ENERGY activity this Sunday.
Check back after Easter for all the deets.

This is from our hunt 2011

Try adding a couple drops of vegetable oil to your egg dye
and gently swirling before you dip your eggs in to color.
It will create a marbled effect.

Or you could be like my husband and make Veggie Tale eggs...why not?
(use paper hole enforcements)

Easter Sunday dressed up neckties

Now, ONTO unique Easter basket fillers:

I bought some recycled pastel pencils.
Pure loveliness.

I hope the kids get excited to do homework with these...not likely but they're still so fun.

"ready, set, POOF!"
Poof ball favors

I'm always on the hunt for stuffed Easter rabbits.
These little guys fit in little hands and make cute small sounds.

Tie dye trending means that
my boys get rolled up colors of tie dye in their baskets this year.

Pocket Kites!
I found these at Christmastime from Perpetual Kid
and stashed them away.

Every year, the boys get sunglasses in their baskets to meet the fresh, new sunshine with.  This year, my boys got them early because of an unexpected event.

And goodness,
they can pump up the COOLness in these glasses.

Other scores they will find in each basket:
pastel Junior Mints
Monster Hands temporary tattoos
Peter Rabbit Jelly Bellys
Cap Bombs!
Rainbow Wikki Stix
scratch n sniff stickers

More ideas for basket fillers
(focused on boys)
- binoculars
- parachute men
- bouncy balls or slinkys
- marshmallow guns
- rocket model kits
- crocheted Frisbees
- Automoblox
- racing tape for hot wheels
- marbles and jacks

I will be sharing some NEW, FRESH ideas
tomorrow for a pastel pretty Easter table 2012 and more
 so check back loves!

Cap bombs, crocheted frisbees, Jelly Belly's, sweet sunglasses, MARSHMALLOW GUNS?!? Do grown up boys get Easter baskets too?

What stood out most to me in this post, besides that I want everything the kids have, is what an artist you are. From the marbled eggs, to the literally picture perfect tables, to the boys styled attire, you Lisa Moore, are amazing.

Easter baskets for kids, tweens and teens are tons of fun to create and even more fun to wake up to on Easter morning! When creating a Easter basket for your little one it is a great idea to add items that they will find exciting and fun.

What a great post! I love the marbled eggs and I LOVE that the Easter basket ideas are "boy-centric." I have two boys of my own and I always struggle for ideas...
