Feather Nest Easter & More

This Easter I wanted to create
a natural table mixed with
playful fun.
I focused on FLUFF and FEATHERS
to accomplish it!

It was an intimate Easter Sunday brunch

BEFORE
the big Egg hunt
32 eggs found!

and
BEFORE getting ready for church
in our Easter Sunday
"do-not-ever-get-dirty" clothes...
too much sugar!

The day started with a family breakfast.

Each plate was uniquely different, giving the
quirky, mismatched look that I adore.

I always like to add TEXTURE to the table,
so these placemats gave that natural bulk of texture.

My favorite part were these personal feather nests
that I made and placed by each place setting!
They were SO cute!

I bought mini wreath forms
and filled them with feathers and hard-boiled eggs.

White Easter Eggs
instead of colored ones for a change...

FLUFF
is added...

Dramatic long feathers fit into a Spring watering pail.

A splash of turquoise

Because many beautiful life moments
are made around the family table...

Day is done.

seems to nice to actually "use" ... :) do you also put all the food on the table too or do the plates up at counter?

I'm married to a 21st century Martha Stewart! And I'm so happy I am. Your table looked perfect Lissy. The brunch time we spent there was the highlight of my Easter.
