The Christmas Song
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping on your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
A very Merry Christmas to you
This little JOYful message is my absolute favorite holiday message I've ever seen!
So simple, but the words just tug at me and make me smile.
I bought it at Target and love, love it!
A joyful heart is the BEST gift,
so reach for it,
grab tightly
and hang on to JOY.

A joyful heart is the BEST gift,

grab tightly

Hope it was wonderful, Lisa! I'm still recuperating from overload. LOL! It was fun, but I'm tired and on a blog break as a consequence.
XO,
Sheila :-)
I laugh every time I see those two little snowmen! I'll look forward seeing them again next year.
