Warm and Bewitching Chili and Pumpkin Carving Party

My fun and talented friend, Allison, hosted a pumpkin carving party in her home sweet home earlier in October.  This was our first year to step into Halloween festivities,  and this night had such a charmed style to start it off!

There was nothing boring about this evening.  Every part was full of treasures to store in our memories and to satisfy our spirits.  This bewitching October party encompassed every precious part of life: gathering, creating, making, tasting, laughing, seeing, and celebrating.

Before we arrived, we stopped at a church yard pumpkin patch to chose which little-big orange pumpkins we wanted to adopt and makeover.

Arriving at Allison's and ready to PAR-TEE.

With a warm and enticing welcome...

Lot bit of pumpkins here

And a lil bit of pumpkins there.

Allison made delicious toasty chili!
She served both traditional chili and green chicken chili.

Chili Bar:
Pinch of cilantro,
swirl of sour cream,
little tastes of cheese,
good to go!

I love, loved the pumpkins she glittered
with the long, whimsical gold-painted stems!

Seth was the boss of the Rubik Cube!
He solved that thing in a couple minutes.
IMpressive.

Fall days bring us to the cozy indoors...

After dinner,
we covered the floor in plastic,
pulled out our tools,
and started carving our orange masterpieces.
