The Best of MooreMinutes 2011: YOUR favorites in Review

This post is a highlighted summary of the most read, most pinned on Pinterest, and most popular posts from my lil ole blog in 2011!    I am a passionate believer of living authentically, doing what we love, and doing what empowers us!

Through the seasons on Moore Minutes...

The year started off with a bunco party and a dinner of mashed potatoes in martini glasses: Mashtinis! With over 26 toppings, guests were able to create any style of mashed potato dinner their little heart's desired.  We served Greek, Spanish, Garden, Meat Lovers, Classic, and more.

In the late winter I shared each of our boys 3 bedroom transformations.  Every room reflects their own personality and personal style.  We created a Game and Book Mix bedroom, a Vintage Urban bedroom, and a Natural Eco-Friendly bedroom.

This Vintage Urban room was by far one of the most popular things of mine pinned on Pinterest this year and also was the most viewed post of the three bedrooms.

The first party of the year was actually the best as well! Titus turned 7 and we celebrated with a Hocus Pocus Magic party with homemade classic treats like oreos, twinkies, and donuts.

In the spring I hosted a Girlfriend's Neapolitan party for my mom.  Full of pastels and dainty loves, this post was a favorite of mine for 2011!  I also served a special six layer cake of strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate.

We took a family drive to the mountains as the warm sun started to peek out for a new season to share a Mother's Day picnic brunch. I packed delicate romance and carried it into the rustic mountains.

After my birthday, I shared a bit of my inner reflections and put together a

I added a lot of USA spirit to my blog in the middle of summer.  This post shares 3 EASY patriotic ideas.

In FULL summertime, we celebrated the 4th with an All American Backyard BBQ.

The American BBQ post was quickly followed by good stuff about

Before the sunshine of summer ended, Dakotah received a special surprise BIRTHDAY visit from the ice cream truck!

Chris and I were able to attend an Outstanding in the Field event.  It was one of our most memorable dates we have ever had!

I shared more reflections from my heart this fall with our personal story of "Secret Whispers from a Teen Mom".

For Thanksgiving we made turkey dinner bread boats for the kids!

I also made over our table with plaid and wood dishes for the cozy holiday.

Christmastime brought a LOT of posts because it is my absolute favorite time of the year! I decorated a Merry Little Mantel along with a lot of other holiday decor.

And finally, the grand finale of every year is Christmas DAY! We had a little escape on a Christmas Day Wonderland at my parent's home sweet home.

Good gosh woman, don't you ever rest? It is amazing how dreamy you make our lives! Posts like really put into perspective just how blessed your four boys are to have YOU!

In your 30 things before 30 post, you mention doing a post on the 30 things you want to do after you turn 30. Did I miss that post, or is it still coming? :-)

You are one inspirational lady! I have truly enjoyed reading your posts this year...and have gleaned many ideas from them. However, I still LOVE your Camping Birthday party with the S'mores Bar (2010, I think). I have used this idea so many times. It's good for both young and (gasp) old...for rehearsal dinners to cookouts.

Thanks for sharing your ideas...and your heart with all of us. You are truly a special lady.
hugs,
J

ps Does Titus still love turtles???
