Party On...Creative Party Place *Feature*

I'm sort of giddy right now {doesn't take much}!

The BLACK AND WHITE CHECKER party I did last Summer
for my Dad's 50th Birthday has been featured
on an amazing Party Idea website: Creative Party Place.

If you've never been to there, you're missing out! Creative Party Place features many unique and creative parties that
will fuel your imagination for the next party you host
.

And if you click HERE, you can see my black and white checkered party on THEIR site. I'm re-posting some of the fun party shots and links on my blog today as well!

ALSO!! A week later,
this posh little 50th party bash
for my Mom was featured on

Creative Party Place as well!

PS I have three boys, as most of you know, and am ALWAYS looking for party ideas for the Boy theme...if you have any excellent ideas, please share. :)

Loved seeing your boys help you with the makeover. I had posted about that last night, and it really was fun to see! Your brother needs to come to my house and help US! LOL! You can come, too, if you bring those cute party things! ;-)

  13. Lisa,
Thank you for stopping by and saying hello. I see you have been blessed by a loving family, your sons are precious! I have not heard of the Creative Party Place so will be checking it out ASAP. You did a beautiful job with your mother & father’s party decorations. They look so festive and pulled together. Also I grew up in Colorado in Littleton and went to CSU. It will always be home for me no matter how far I wander.

Of course I loved the checkered pattern, I will have to store these ideas away. I can't wait to use these party themes for the next birthday. You are so right the boy theme parties are the hardest to think of. Have a great Monday!

  34. Hi Lisa! Thanks so much for your sweet compliments on my Halloween costumes. :)

Your blog is great! The black and white party is too cute and your bead board project turned out awesome. We don't have a backslash in our kitchen, so bead board is what I'd really like to install, just like Layla. Isn't she great?

  36. Well, I don't have any ideas for boy parties (I'm the oldest of 5 girls, no brothers!), but I looove the pink and black party! It looks so chic and fun. =D

And Lisa, I wanted to say thanks SO much for following me at {This Time Around}! It really means soooo much to me. =)

  37. Fun party ideas! I'm always scoping out themes...especially because I'll have a bridal shower and a baby shower to plan in the coming months! I love Inchmark Journal (inchmark.squarespace.com) for kid's party ideas--she has a lovely aesthetic. There's a cool rocket themed party, as well as a baseball themed party.

  38. So cute! Love your saturated party themes. Just neat.

  39. @cheapchichome. Hi L, Thanks for visiting my blog. I have a cute recipe for a boy cake, not necessary a whole theme. I'll dig it out and get it to you. It makes me very sad that you are doing "50" BD parties--that's my next one, but I'm not broadcasting that to anyone! ;)

I SO treasure EVERY comment. I am not able to respond individually to each one anymore, although I TRULY wish I could! It is hard for me to say that because I love hearing from everyone and sharing back. I still try my best, but it may take awhile! :)

ALSO, I am unable to link up to new link up parties due to time constraints. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for EACH lovely note! <3 I appreciate YOU.
