Christmas Cookie Crazy: baking up some classics

We have a lot of cookie monsters in our house.

Baking cookies is a family favorite.  Cameron says the cookies are his favorite part about Christmas.  So, in December, I tie on my apron and get to it!

This year I had a lot of holiday helpers in the kitchen.  Cameron was an incredibly awesome help!  He did dishes 2 million times for me.  Lifesaver.  He also learned a lot of new baking techniques.  I had so much fun with him!

And Kotah is adorable in the kitchen.  He takes matters into his own hands and he independently works along.   Titus likes to wander around sampling cookies and licking candy canes. ;)

This year, most of our recipes were traditional ones we do annually.  To see the recipe, click on the cookie resource links at the end of this blog post.  Enjoy!

To start off the season,my mom and I made classic SUGARS at her home sweet home.
