Movin' to the country, gonna eat a lot of PEACHES

Peaches are pretty cool around here.
We live near the magic spot that grows super star peaches: Palisade, Colorado.

Peaches n Cream Soda from Palisade

I've shared a lot of peach goodness before...here....and....

here: Grilled Peaches with basil and swiss

And now the new recipes for 2011:

Creamy Peach Cupcakes
This find was on pinterest.
They sounded so light and fun.
And I simply adored the way she put peach slices on top,
so I did the exact same thing!

They are full of fresh fruit (and all that other sweet stuff)

I also made mini cakes with the extra batter.
I served them in hot dog carriers.
Umm, completely loved that idea. ;)

The other new recipe is a healthier option.  My kids drink a lot of smoothies.  It's an ideal way to use up leftovers in the fridge!

Peaches n' Cream Smoothies

Simply add ice, peaches, nonfat plain yogurt, half and half, banana, and honey and mix in your blender.

Garnish with a peach slice of course.

We've taken them out of the can baby.
From Presidents of the United States of America band's song:

"Movin' to the country gonna eat a lot of peaches
I'm movin' to the country I'm gonna eat me a lot of peaches
I'm movin' to the country I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin' to the country I'm gonna eat a lot of peaches
Peaches come from a can they were put there by a man
In a factory downtown

If I had my little way I'd eat peaches everyday
Millions of peaches, peaches for me."

I SO treasure EVERY comment. I am not able to respond individually to each one anymore, although I TRULY wish I could! It is hard for me to say that because I love hearing from everyone and sharing back. I still try my best, but it may take awhile! :)

ALSO, I am unable to link up to new link up parties due to time constraints. Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for EACH lovely note! <3 I appreciate YOU.
