Cupcake Pan Creations *Works for Me Wednesday*

cUpcAkEs are extra fashionable and celebrated everywhere right now! Because what is more dreamy than a petite bit of sweetness nestled in a zig zag wrapper, pillowed high with frosting and topped with a shiny cherry and rainbow sprinkles?... Nothing, of course!

Let's get creative and think of other ways to use cupcake pans. Please share your ideas!
On another website recently I saw a cupcake pan being used as a veggie tray, holding cut veggies in 5 cubbies and ranch dip in the last. Super cute!

I experimented with alternative uses for cupcake pans:

Baking chocolate peanut butter brownies with new flair and easy way to serve!

Serving cold ice cream on a summer day! Strawberry? Vanilla? or Chocolate?

  1. Cupcakes, when turned upside down, have always looked like little forts to me. I would like to use them to build a hot wheel sized fortress in the sand for my boys and I!

  2. That is the cutest idea for ice cream! I use my cupcake pan to make mini meatloaves.

  3. Have you seen the muffin tin meals for kids. You use them like a divided plate and put a little bit of food in each one. My kids love them, they call them Lunchables.

I've melted broken crayons in mine to make crayon pieces the kids can use. But you have to really clean it afterwards. I haven't tried lining it with foil yet.

I saw a recipe for pancakes in them, they end up being like pop-overs.

you can use them to hold beads when you're crafting.

I also have a set that I don't use to bake with but turned it over and painted each of the bottom cups with a snowman's face.

  5. Thanks for the comment, I loved it! I've told Ben before that one of the best presents I've ever received was from you when I graduated from highschool. That book has been one of the most influential books in my life (especially during that time of my life). You are such an inspiration to me too Lisa. If I can become half of the woman you are, I think I'll be satisfied and stop there. ;)

I SO treasure EVERY comment. I am not able to respond individually to each one anymore, although I TRULY wish I could! It is hard for me to say that because I love hearing from everyone and sharing back. I still try my best, but it may take awhile! :)

ALSO, I am unable to link up to new link up parties due to time constraints. Thank you for your understanding.
