Panini Sandwiches for Summer!
Panini sandwiches are all the rage, and for good reason. I've had my panini grill for a couple of years and experimented with many sandwiches. This Cuisinart Panini and Sandwich Press
is one of my personal favorite grills! I enjoy making panini sandwiches because it allows me to be as creative as I wish! Also, breakfast burritos taste delicious after putting them between a panini grill!
A great idea is to make a sandwich bar when you are entertaining.
Put a deli meat tray out with ham, turkey, and roast beef.
Arrange a cheese tray too with cheddar, provalone, and swiss.
Also include a vegi tray with sliced avacados, tomatoes, red onions, and lettuce.
I mix up a sandwich spread that includes mayo, mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
I spread it over bakery bread, usually whole wheat french bread.
People pass through the sandwich bar and load up their plate with their sandwich fillings, and I put them together and sizzle the stacked sandwiches on the panini grill.
Sooo extra yummy!
Serve with fresh fruit, pasta salad, and chips. Don't forget some sun tea with a colorful straw and you're ready to go with a perfect SUMMERTIME meal!
Extra tip! Buy this book to find AMAZING and unique sandwiches to make...it is full of ideas. It is one of my favorite cookbooks.

I SO treasure EVERY comment. I am not able to respond individually to each one anymore, although I TRULY wish I could! It is hard for me to say that because I love hearing from everyone and sharing back. I still try my best, but it may take awhile! :)
ALSO, I am unable to link up to new link up parties due to time constraints. Thank you for your understanding.
Thank you for EACH lovely note! <3 I appreciate YOU.
I don't use my panini grill. My talented wife does it for me. And I LOVE it when she does!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm.. that panini looks scrumptious. I must get me one of those grills. ;D
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a panini bar! How awesome!
ReplyDeleteWow, that does sound like a great idea! And no one complains because they picked their own toppings! Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteI will have to totally try this at our next gathering. We have large groups over often. My 8 year old bought us a panini grill at a yard sale for Christmas. He'll be so excited for this. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAwesome, this is going to save me some money at Panera bread ;) And what a fabulous entertaining idea. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteSo glad I ate lunch before I visited this post!
ReplyDeleteI don't have a panini grill, but love the sandwich bar idea.
If you don't have a panini grill, a George Foreman works great as well! These are super for dipping in soups if just simple cheese and maybe one other topping...
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of a panini bar ... I think it's going on next week's menu plan. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Panini's at home sounds cool :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! I love the concept of letting the guests pick what they want on their sandwich. It also takes a simple sandwich meal to the next level! Thanks for the tip!!
